We are looking for someone just like you to join the team consisting of Truck Drivers, Timber Specialists, Production workers, and technicians and dealing with poles, timbers, and rail ties. Your main function will be to verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments, packaging, and organizing the shipments, work in our system, negotiating rates. Schedules freight for inbound and outbound shipments, direct contact with customers for freight notification and coordination. Responsibilities- Being a Logistics Coordinator Manage incoming/outgoing trucks and rail cars as required. This includes couriers, visitors, contractor’s parts/suppliesdeliveries, etc.- Ensures inventory to warehouse and stock transfers is accurate- System management of VMI inventory for various customers- Manage customer delivery’s to local stores and print weekly update reports- Schedules trucks and verifies inbound and outbound shipments to facilitate accurate inventory and bill of lading- Makes orders and routes railcars to customer destinations. Generates daily outbound report to each salesman that has railcarsheading to customers- Schedules, orders, and releases rail shipments- Coordinates with various self-unloaders when flatbed/railcars are arriving at a destination- Enters shipments in BlueBee system and pole database; generating all required paperwork for shipments (bill of lading, customspapers, etc.) Forwards paperwork as necessary to all appropriate individuals, internal and external- Accounts Receivable and General Administration (5-10% of the time)Qualifications-Effective interpersonal and communication skills-Attention to detail-Time and stress management-Knowledge of transportation requirements-Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments-Intermediate Computer Skills (Microsoft Office and BlueBee system)-SAP experience would be an asset-CP or CN this is an asset as well-Basic Math SkillsSummaryThree easy ways to apply:1.
