    Your challenge!Reporting to the Director – Logistics Operations, the Logistics Coordinator’s mission is to liaise with carriers, business partners and customers to facilitate the logistics process’ fluidity in order to ensure customer satisfaction. You effectively manage logistical issues and exceptions transmitted to you as well as special transportation with carriers and suppliers and perform daily logistical follow-ups with carriers to ensure that delivery and pick-up times are respected. You also ensure the compliance of documents and data related to logistics and transportation costs. Finally, you actively contribute to achieving your department's operational excellence objectives by providing exemplary service to partners and customers.Individual responsibilities

    Accountable

    Process logistics issues/exceptions forwarded by business partners in a timely and accurate manner.

    Responsible

    Ensure daily logistics follow-up (order status/delivery).

    Rigorously ensure the accuracy of transportation cost data.

    Follow up with carriers to ensure that delivery and pick-up dates are met.

    Ensure that logistics, and transportation-related documents and data are accurate and compliant.

    Organize all your activities to respond effectively and efficiently to the needs of your unit.

    Apply logistics and transportation practices and procedures with a view to achieving business objectives.

    Facilitate communication between your unit and business partners.

    Select the supplier and plan the transportation according to dates provided by the units (for exceptions).

    Select carriers for special shipments and negotiate with them.

    Act as a LE-WM reference point for factories.

    Select the carrier and equipment with reference to the master data provided.

    Provide carrier confirmation in accordance with the SLA when issues arise.

    Experiences and strengths

    2 to 5 years of experience

    Professional diploma in logistics or equivalent

    Proficiency in written and spoken English.

    Good knowledge of Office Suite.

    Ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.

    Ability to solve problems and prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Sound judgment for making appropriate decisions.

    Rigour and agility to handle projects in accordance with their scope, budget and timelines.

    Collaborative spirit needed to work closely with all team members.
