Responsibilities
As a Logistics Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply of the assembly line for the Saint-Eustache plant. Specifically, here are the tasks and responsibilities related to this great 6-month temporary opportunity in St-Eustache:
- Analyze requirements, place orders with suppliers based on calculated needs
- Negotiate with the supplier the frequency of deliveries, modes and conditions of transportation, and packaging
- Analyze the impact of changes or additions of new parts
- Determine the points of effectiveness in order to minimize obsolescence and shortages
- Calculate the latest end dates for the introduction of new parts
- Issue requests for corrective actions to suppliers related to the logistics field
- Take action to control inventory levels
- Analyze requirements and determine parameters
- Follow up on orders in delivery
- Follow up on returns, repairs, and re-machining of parts.
Qualifications
- DEC in Administrative Technique with an option in Logistics Management,
- Procurement Management, Industrial Management, or Production Operations Management
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Knowledge of Excel and Word software
- Knowledge of a manufacturing MRP system (an asset)
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Autonomous, dynamic, good judgment, and initiative.
