Responsibilities
- Managing given accounts and accounts brought in
- Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business internally by completing orders
- Following Key Performance Indicators
- Serving and following up with new customers and business
- Partnering with internal operations/functional teams to create solutions based on customer needs
- Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s)
- Working with clients budgets and finding the best solution for their needs (quotes/rates)
- Coordinating with all operations team (dispatch, logistics) for ensure bookings, times for delivery are up to date., racking and tracing,
- Coordinating with sales team day to day to stay updating on all requests and clients, follow up on leads,
- Responding to client prospects inquiries by preparation quotations
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally in the transport industry
- Minimum 1 year of managing accounts or sales (3PL industry is an asset but not mandatory)
- Ability to close and deliver new business
- Passion for transport industry, strong work ethic and a drive to succeed
- Hard Working. Entrepreneurial. Accountable and Pro-Active;
- Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential
- Ability to work in a collaborative/team environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written English/French).
