    Do you have Machine Operator experience OR do you have experience working as a roofer, hardscape landscaper, construction or similar jobs? Would you like to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment in Ajax?

    If you have been searching for a full-time opportunity in the Durham region working in a production/manufacturing environment and are looking for long-term employment that can lead to a permanent position, this might be the opportunity for you!

    We have two openings available for the Day and Afternoon shifts and they DO NOT rotate: Straight days, straight afternoons.

    Straight day shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) Monday to Friday - $18.00 per hour
    Afternoons/nights shift (2:30 PM - 1:00 AM) Monday to Thursday - $18.65 per hour

    Responsibilities
    What you will be doing?

    - Operating manufacturing machines to roll, wrap and help produce materials to customer specifications
    - Set up materials for the machines
    - Quality inspection of finished product and machine operation daily
    - Making, wrapping and winding material
    - Overtime hours available

    Qualifications
    What Skills do you bring?

    - Previous experience of at least 6 months as a machine operator OR
    - Can also have experience in harder labour such as construction, roofing, hardscape landscape or similar
    - Ability to stand for much of the shift
    - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
    - Good attitude and candidates who genuinely want to work and grow within
    - Reliability is key for our client and a good work ethic are very important traits to have
    - Have completed high school
