Jump-start your career with a company that is invested in providing permanent job opportunities!Are you looking for a Permanent Machine Operator role?Email your resume at email@example.com OR Call/text Sarika at 647-229-6435 ASAP for an immediate response!Our Brampton client is recruiting for a Machine Operator to start immediately in a busy Pharmaceutical packaging company.Location : Brampton ( major intersection- Steeles/ Torbram)Shift Timings: Rotational shift - 2 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons, 2 weeks nightsCompetitive Pay Rate - $17-$21 based on the experienceWorking Hours: DAYS - (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday to Friday)AFTERNOON - (3:15 PM – 11:15 PM Monday to Friday)NIGHT - (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Sunday to Thursday)Advantages- Competitive Pay Rate - based on the experience- Benefits from the company (after probation)- Neat & clean workplace- Paid biweekly- Transit accessible- Training & Orientation providedResponsibilities•Knowledgeable in regard to the electrics, and mechanics of assigned equipment.•Conduct proper testing methods for the packages produced on the assigned equipment.•Understand the qualities and properties of the packaging materials used on the assigned equipment, i.e. the proper heat sealing, temperature, dwell time and pressure of materials.•Communicate to management regarding any issues and/or ideas for improving effectiveness, quality, safety and equipment performance.•Responsible to ensure proper clean-up activities are complete, cleaning the assigned operating area and equipment under the direction of the Production Leader.•Read and follow all instructions on the work order for the assigned job.•Perform various machine functions and processes related to the particular line that has been assigned.•Provide directions to packers in regard to safety, quality and production.•Work with mechanical staff to ensure quality of product and production rates are met.•Complete all required QA paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.•Assist in training and guidance of new packers/operators.•Take a leadership role in safety, by identifying unsafe conditions and ensuring all workers assigned to the equipment are working in a safe manner.•Identify quality defects in packaging operations.•When required, perform packaging functions, hand assembly operations.•Maintain a clean work area.•Achieve and maintain proficiency in all aspects of packaging lines.•Responsible for changing film, filling hoppers, and supplying materials to the packaging lines when required.•Comply with all applicable health and safety legislation.•Undertake training to enhance skills and knowledge.•Perform any other related duties or follow any other instructions as may be directed by the Leader.QualificationsEducation (diploma, degree, professional designation):•High school diplomaExperience:•2-5 years of general packaging operations or 1-2 years of direct pharma packaging operations.Key competencies:•The ability to work or rotate multiple shifts including days, afternoons, midnight, weekend, continental. •Must be able to work cooperatively with other staff, able to take and provide direction.•Knowledge of GMP’s. •Good communication skills (ability to read and write English). •Excellent eye-hand coordination, finger and manual dexterity needed. •Self-starter and time management skills. •Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.Summaryif you meet the above requirements, please contact us IMMEDIATELY as positions fill fast.How to APPLY:Email your resume at firstname.lastname@example.org OR Call/text Sarika at 647-229-6435 OR Apply Online to this job postingSarikaRandstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
