Pay Rate: $32.60/hr
Shift: 3:00PM - 11:00PM Monday to Friday
Location: Midland Ave. & Ellesmere Rd.
(All candidates must pass a background check, Medical assessment, and Colour Hue test)

Responsibilities
• Ensures that employees in department are working and handling equipment in a safe manner.
• Daily, reviews priority jobs needed for production with the Die Cutting Manager for the Die Cutting department.
• Distributes workflow to crews based on experience and critical nature of job.
• Trains new employees.
• Monitor foil orders and Inventory.
• Check stamping/Embossing dies for accuracy as well as storage.
• Ensures total quality of jobs while in operation.
• Stacks and places material in warehouse.
• Coordinates with outside vendors to maintain recycling program within the plant.
• Orders pallets in plant for production departments.
• Monitors wrapping material inventories and notify Night Superintendent at reorder point.
• Assists in department production as needed.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a stripping/die cutting production setting.
• Ability to direct the work of the employees in the department.
• Must be able to pass a colour hue test.
• Great attention to details
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience training is an asset
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory control and quality control
• Experience with placing orders
• Ability to work efficiently independently or within a team
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
