    We are hiring for a Machine Operator for a company that makes stone bricks in central Markham. You'll be working in a small team but also be expected to work independently and be self-directed to meet your goals. Opportunity to make well over $60,000 a year when calculating overtime and shift premiums. This is a permanent, direct hire position, so we are looking for people who want to progress their career in machine operation - someone interested in building a career with this company. There is a lot of dust, but health and safety are closely monitored.

    Job Title: Machine Operator
    Shift Time: 4 days on, 4 days off, rotating nights/days - 6 to 6
    Pay Rate: $26-30/hr
    Extra $1.25/hour for night shifts Mon-Friday
    Extra $6.25/hour for night shifts Friday-Sunday
    Day & night shifts on Saturday & Sunday are also paid at time and a half.

    Location: Markham (near Woodbine and 14th Ave)
    Overtime: Available

    *Lifting up to 75 lbs with a partner

    Qualifications
    *Minimum one year experience with machine operation
    *Owns steel toed safety shoes
    *Can lift 50 lbs unassisted
    *Mechanically inclined - experience with hand and power
