We have an opportunity available in the Mississauga area near Tomken and Derry as a Machine Operator. This role is with a leader in the Plastics and Construction industry distributing plastic netting products. The ideal machine operator candidate will be mechanically inclined, able to work rotating shifts and is reliable. Position: Machine Operator
Shift: Days, Afternoons, Nights (MON – FRI) rotates every 2 weeks
Pay: $19.25/hr to start

Duties will be:
- Manufacturing plastic netting products as a machine operator
- Performs daily production activities on plastic extrusion lines
- Orientation and ability to follow complex systems with attention to details
- Adhere to procedures and work Instructions
- Executes the job changes in extrusion lines and downstream equipment
- Adjusts and inputs machine controls parameters as needed to complete the setups
- Maintains the order of all tools and equipment related to the production lines in charge
- Completes quality control records in a timely manner including production reports and ensuring that the shift changes are done effectively
- Ensures and enforces that all safety devices are working properly
- Follows the food safety guidelines established and executes cleaning and sanitation based on food safety protocols

- Direct Hire – No contract no temp work

- $19.25/hr to start
- Pay will increase to approximately $20.00/hr after 3 months and $20.75 after 6 months
- Morning, afternoon and nights - rotate every 2 weeks (Mon-Fri only)
- Vacation, benefits, profit sharing after 3 months

What is needed to be a successful candidate?
- Mechanically inclined, assembly, set-up, process tech or related manufacturing experience
- Basic Math skills
- Basic setup and operating experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
