Our client in Pointe-Claire is looking for an experienced machine operator who is available to work rotating shifts. As a machine operator, you will be working for a leading manufacturer of home improvement materials to operate their machines. If you also have sitdown forklift experience, even better! The machine operator will rotate between day, evening and the occasion overnight shift on a weekly basis. The salary starts at $25 an hour, and work weeks are Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
Safely operate the paint line machine
Perform basic machine calibration and coil splicing
Properly place rolls for painting material and samples
Safely operate a sit down forklift if experienced
Enter relevant data onto the computer
Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be available for day, evening and overnight shifts
Bilingual an asset
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a machine operator
Must be detail oriented
Must understand basic mathematics and be able to read
Must be able to use a computer
