We are currently looking for individuals with 1-2 years of experience as an Extruder Machine Operator to join the team of an innovative plant-based food company. In this role you would be responsible for ensuring the proper set up of our equipment and production lines. Check and identify the proper resources to ensure the lines speed and presets can run uninterrupted. You would do frequent maintenance checks and fill out operating logs and maintain inventory. We are looking for individuals with a mechanical aptitude and experience working with larger-scale operating equipment. Wage: Starting Wage $20-24 (Depending on level of experience)

Responsibilities
- Setup equipment and production lines and ensure all sanitation and safety standards met
- Ensure the required resources are available for the uninterrupted operation of the production line
- Operate production equipment at the expected line speed
- Output products that meet quality standards
- Document maintenance checks, operating logs and spare parts lists for production equipment
- Ensure the proper tear down, and parts storage of production equipment
- Assist with R&D product trials
Qualifications
- Willingness to continue to learn and grow in this role
- Strong multi-tasking skills and a mechanical aptitude
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and focus
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Located in the Port Coquitlam, BC area
- A passion for all things plant-based
