We are looking for a manual machinist for a manufacturing facility in Cambridge (automotive industry).
In order to be considered for this role you must have your ticket and at least 3 years of prior experience working in a similar role.

Responsibilities
Ability to use machine tools such as Milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders to produce quality tooling components
Proficient with GD&T and able to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to troubleshoot, align and fit tooling components.
- Performing scheduled maintenance on machines and tools
- Knowledge of solid works and CAM software an asset
- CNC machine experience would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capable of inspecting own work
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Possess own tools
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education, trade qualification, or equivalent experience. (429a ticket)
- Excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Experience with measuring tools and reading blueprints
