Do you have experience working in a Mailroom setting, or with cheque, remittance or similar document processing, in a fast-paced environment? Are you extremely detail and process-oriented? Do you want to work for a GLOBAL Financial Services company, in the hear of downtown, Toronto, recognizable anywhere? If so, we want to hear from you!
This is a role where you will be standing for most of the time, and working with a couple of different Mailroom equipment, so please only apply if you are comfortable with that

We're looking for a Mailroom Clerk - Cheque Imaging to start the first week of August, on a 3-month contract, ideally extending to 6 months, or a permanent role, based on your performance and team's continued needs. The working hours are 6:30 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday, and you will be earning $16/hour.

What YOU will be doing as a Cheque Processing Clerk:

• Imaging and processing cheques using a variety of Imaging/Extraction Equipment (I-Tran, IBML, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150)
• Stapling, cataloging, imaging and boxing of cheques and other client documentation.
• Lifting, stacking and moving tubs, trays, and racks - Lifting of up to 30 pounds.
• Transporting tubs and racks within the automated processing area and to other functional areas
• Performing routine maintenance/cleaning functions on equipment
• Following instructions for each separate account accurately, creating batches for each account for further processing and scanning into the company's system.

What YOU bring to the table:

• Experience working in a Mailroom setting with imaging equipment, cheques, or remittance or detail-oriented paperwork processing is strongly preferred.
• As an alternative, you could have detail-oriented manual application processing with confidential client information experience as well.
• Strong proficiency working with computers, including accurate and fast data entry, and the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability and willingness to be standing for most of the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team setting.
• Great team player, able to support your team-members when need be.
