    Maintenance Coordinator

    NW, Edmonton, AB

    Day shift 7.30 am to 4.00 pm

    $20-22/hour

    As a maintenance coordinator you will be assessing if there is a break in equipment and doing a rec to call contractor to come in and repair. To be successful in this position you must be good with computers (send basic email MS and database understanding or must be trainable)

    Also , general knowledge and experience with hand tools and great knowledge of wrench sizes, Alan keys, drill bits etc. This position will not require heavy lifting and in down time you will be doing data entry . This location is a large manufacturing and distribution company with room for growth.

    This is a contract position 3-6 months with the opportunity to turn into a long-term permanent position.

    Responsibilities
    - Responsible for equipment maintenance
    - Inspects parts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or Quality personnel.
    - Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, and environmental standards.
    - Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
    - Establishes and maintains a safe and healthful working environment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
    - good computer skills and database understanding
    - Performs other tasks as may be requested to assure the effective and continuous utilization of assets.


    Qualifications
    - machine maintenance experience
    - Strong attention to detail
    - Able to multitask and work in a team environment.
    - Can lift up to 35 lbs. unaided
    - Are legally authorized to work in Canada. No company sponsorship is provided
    - Have previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
