Our client is looking for a maintenance manager to oversee a state-of-the-art facility.
A successful candidate will have a strong background in managing a team of maintenance millwrights and electricians, and will use their prior experience as a maintenance electrician or millwright (red seal preferred) to be a hands on manager to ensure the automated production lines remains at maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities
What you'll do:
•Build, coach, and train a highly motivated team of maintenance professionals
•Oversee and be accountable for the performance of the maintenance team
•Ensure the maximization of machinery availability through targeted planned and unplanned repairs
•Maintain constant and clear communication with all departments and management staff
•Ensure maintenance parts are available and oversee parts and tools inventory while maintaining cost control measures
•Provide manpower, parts, and cost forecasting on a quarterly basis for the maintenance department
•Ensure knowledge sharing is a fundamental principle adopted by all members of the maintenance team
•Oversee and be responsible for all major scheduled and non-scheduled repairs in a safe and secure manner while respecting all safety procedures and policies
•Follow company escalation procedures and ensure proper feedback to management team at all times
•Build close ties with other sites to receive guidance and knowledge sharing
•Attend staff meetings and be available on-call to minimize machinery downtime
•Create/maintain reports, KPI tracking reports, and general analysis of daily fault numbers and KPIs
•Provide KPI statistics and trend analysis on a regular interval to ensure department performance is measurable and traceable
•Work with the General Manager to review maintenance procedures to achieve and maintain customer service levels
•Ensure maintenance teams are properly staffed and optimized.
Qualifications
What you bring to the company:
•Experience as a maintenance millwright or electrician (red seal preferred) with a specialization in sensors, chain drives, VFDs, hydraulics and pneumatics, and automatized machinery
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role
•Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and teams effectively
•Knowledge of industry-standard maintenance procedures and practices
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
