Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities
-Provide mechanical support to all departments within the facility
-Install, align, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair industrial/building machinery and equipment
-Build and repair machine shop tools, fabricate parts and necessary safety guarding
-Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints drawings to determine work and safety procedures
-Rigging and hoisting
-Operate welding and other shop related equipment such as lathes and other devices

Qualifications
-Ability to read blueprints
-Ability to work independently and keep self motivated
-MIG welding skills an asset
-433A ticket not needed but considered an asset
