Responsibilities
- install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLC's
- Perform and document PM as scheduled
- Repair and maintain mechanical components of production equipment and machines, such as metal fabricating, machine tools, materials handling systems, following blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications, using hand and power tools and precision measurement tools
- Responsible for troubleshooting any electrical or mechanical system faults
- Remove, refurbish or replace worn or defective components, re-align and adjust components, start the machine to test operation following repair
- Fabricate guarding, rails, and other components for existing machinery as well as new equipment
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is very good with their hands and has at least 2 years of professional work experience related to the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and systems.
- Key systems include hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical types and equipment include both Allen-Bradley PLCs and Fanuc industrial robotics.
- The candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and keen to grow and deepen their understanding of complex mechanical systems. The role will include substantial unsupervised time and is best suited to proactive, self-starters with enthusiasm for their daily work
