As Maintenance Supervisor, oversee the activities of all employees assigned to the Maintenance Department and plant equipment maintenance. Below are the responsibilities and duties required but not limited to:
Individual Responsibilities
Maintenance Shop Duties :
• Reporting directly to the Production Manager

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Provide daily direction to the Maintenance Team related to the maintenance and repair of all Cascades Scarborough Plant equipment.
• Provide daily assistance to Maintenance Team related to workload, parts requirements, and inventory
• Ensure that all aspects of service and repair meet the required standards as set out by the Cascades Scarborough Maintenance Program
• Ensure that all service and maintenance practices meet the regulatory requirements for the MTO, MOL, and the MOE, to include the preparing and signing of PM an Annual Safety Certificates.
• Provide daily direction and assistance to Maintenance Team relative to equipment repair including technical support.
• Plan, organize and control equipment for the shop floor, in conjunction with the Plant Facilities.
• Work with all Cascades Scarborough repair facilities to coordinate and control the daily scheduling of service and repair of all Plant equipment repairs.
• Work with the Maintenance Team daily to provided safe, reliable and available equipment with focus on quality of repair and shop productivity
• Ensure that all scheduled maintenance is completed daily as outlined in the Preventive Maintenance Schedule
• Complete all required Preventative Maintenance and Repair documents and make sure that a daily update is provided to the Production Manager
• Provide continued communication to all related departments relative to equipment status (out of service, repair status, PMs)
• Assist the Maintenance Team as required to complete repairs to Cascades Scarborough equipment.
• Ensure that all overtime is necessary and has been properly authorized, this is to include overtime for all staff
• Work with all departments relative to accident and incident investigation providing all pertinent information to the Maintenance Manager
• Ensure that all staff meet the timekeeping requirement as set out by the Production Manager with follow-up on all timekeeping issues as they arise
• Willing to take on-call duties as outlined by the Production Manager
Other Roles and Responsibilities
Update daily, weekly dashboards
• Member of the JHSC
• To provide control over parts inventory ensuring that inventory levels are kept within the predetermined minimum/maximum.
• Maintain a list of current shop parts inventory level by part number, location, and dollar value and completed an inventory count at least once per year. This list must be made available electronically.
• Ensure that all service and material purchases are in compliance with the Cascades Scarborough purchase order procedures.
• Communicate to the Production Manager all service and material purchases that exceed your predetermined authorization level for his approval.
• Plan, organize, and control purchase services in order to minimize operational impact and reduce equipment downtime
• Ensure that all purchasing is properly documented and purchase orders are issued for each purchase
• Follow up on all Afterhours purchasing to insure proper documentation and processing
Experience and Skills
Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the corrugate industry is a must.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role
• Experience with the Cascades is an asset
