    Responsibilities
    What will you be doing?

    • Ensure that all staff work in a safe manner using all safety equipment and procedures
    • Scheduling of Mechanics and Setup Helpers in the production area
    • Co-ordinate activities to meet production schedule
    • Participate in troubleshooting activities with mechanics to support production schedule
    • Involved in mechanical overhauls and upgrades.
    • Responsible for tracking performance and development of staff and the department
    • Comply with cGMP and internal procedures and standards.

    Qualifications
    Who are we looking for?

    • University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 6 years mechanical experience in a packaging/manufacturing environment
    • Knowledgeable in regards to the electrics, pneumatics and mechanics of equipment.
    • Must be able to lead and provide direction to staff
    • Understanding and knowledge of GMP's
    • Excellent hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
