Responsibilities
- Plan corrective work, purchase of parts and price negotiation;
- Supervise mechanics and contractors;
- Plan machine emergencies;
- Maintain equipment in good condition to produce a quality product;
- Plan preventive work orders;
- Respect deadlines and budget;
- Continuous improvement of machinery;
- Ensure that his actions in his function support manufacturing and products with the quality and food safety criteria defined by the company;
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of the SQF food safety code and report any food safety problem to the personnel authorized to intervene;
- Other related tasks
Qualifications
- D.E.P. in mechanics;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Have taken courses in personnel management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance planning software
- Perfectly bilingual French / English
- Have leadership with managerial skills and be an excellent communicator;
- Have the enthusiasm for a "hands-on" approach in the management of his team;
- Able to work with several different internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to work within very strict deadlines;
- Have a sense of organization, priorities and a taste for teamwork;
- Good mechanical sense;
- Good ability to work with the tools necessary for his work;
- Have good self-confidence;
- Love challenges;
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
