Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical - Located in Trenton, Ontario

We are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead our Electrical and Instrumentation Team, upholding the company values and promoting Cascades' philosophy.

Job Responsibilities
Provide coaching and support to electrical and instrumentation techs in a unionized, pulp and paper environment
Follow best practices and ensure the efficiency and quality of the unit’s maintenance/reliability operations
Work with Production to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities
Lead staff in identifying facilities and maintenance issues and tasks, and ensure maintenance and reliability work is performed effectively
Promote sound occupational health and safety management
Facilitate the unit’s adherence to its annual maintenance budget
Encourage staff to suggest ideas for improvement

Desired experience
Post-secondary education in an electrical, electronics or instrumentation program with a licensed electrical trade certificate.
5 years of related work experience in manufacturing, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens/Moore DCS, AC and DC drive systems and Autocad.

Technical competencies
Effective leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as other applicable legislation and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP and maintenance management software.
Ability to work overtime and be on-call as necessary.
