Responsibilities
-Maintain, modify, repair, install, improve, & troubleshoot various type of machinery/ equipment.
-PLC and HMI troubleshooting also some modification & calibration of equipment ( VFD, servomotors & control experience an asset)
-Troubleshooting breakdowns in production (ensuring minimal downtime)
-Participate in planned maintenance & safety inspections
-Ordering of electrical components & maintaining inventory
-Experience with; mixers, depositors, ovens, slicers, conveyors, checkweighers, flow wrappers, carton formers, printers, sealers & packaging equipment an asset
Qualifications
3+ years experience in a food/packaging environment preferred
Mechanical Diploma/Certificate
Mechanically inclined with Electrical knowledge considered an asset
Experience troubleshooting and repairing production/packaging equipment
Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Ability to work in a hot/cold environment
