Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all production and related equipment to optimize safety and efficiency.
- Perform inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance on process equipment, including pumps and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Flexibility to work beyond scheduled shifts and during non-production hours as required.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, documenting maintenance work and communicating future requirements.
- Conduct regular equipment checks, propose improvements, and manage stock room inventory.
- Collaborate with other trade groups on project assignments while upholding cleanliness and security standards.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years experience within food or packaging industry
- Bottling experience is an asset
- Proficient in pneumatics, hydraulic
- Experience with boiler, refrigeration, air handling systems beneficial.
- Strong blueprint reading, troubleshooting, analytical skills required.
