Responsibilities
- Process and prepare month end duties such as reporting and posting journal entries
- Processing inventory cost management through analysis and reconciliation
- Assisting tax preparation while coordinating with the sales team, monitoring daily sales, processing and filing monthly sales tax returns
- Recording and tracking fixed assets for the organization, maintaining the appropriate documents and reporting to Management
- Process of wire transfers, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation and processing balance sheets
- Assist with projects when necessary
- Reporting directly to the VP of Finance
Qualifications
- Post secondary education in Business Management or Accounting
- Three to five years of experience working as an accountant
- CPA designation or working towards
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Excel Skills (working with pivot tables, v/h lookups)
- Inventory management is a strong asset
