What will you do?
As a Manager (Corporate Applications) with our Vancouver client, you will:
•Collaborate with team members and clients to understand the objectives, needs, issues and application portfolio.
•Collaborate with Technology Teams on application roadmap planning, development, and implementation.
•Build and manage a team of skilled software engineers and analysts.
•Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching.
•Manage delivery of application products and services.
•Research complex investment issues; working with clients to define design specifications and business solutions.
•Communicate solutions and programming standards, methods and procedures.
•Ensure all application development/design and solutions comply with standards.
•Interact with vendors, suppliers and contractors to identify risks/issues and remove barriers.
•Coordinate resources, identify resolution paths and provide clear communications to stakeholders.
•Direct the development/execution of business plans, operations plans, programs, projects and other initiatives.
•Establish/review KPIs, metrics and reporting used to track, optimize and communicate team progress and performance outcomes.
•Monitor financial reporting and status within the department and direct corrective action.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Manager (Corporate Applications) role with our Vancouver client, you must have:
•Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
•5+ years’ experience leading/managing high performing technical teams.
•3-5 years’ experience with application development and architecture.
•Strong experience with SDLC and ITIL processes.
•Experience with Agile methods (Scrum) and DevOps practices.
•Experience with middleware integration (MQ-series, WebLogic, etc.).
•Experience with DevOps tool chains (Git, Jenkins) - (3-5YZ).
•Experience with databases (Oracle DB2, SQL, MS SQL Server).
•Experience with programming languages (.NET, C, C++, Java/XML, etc.).
•Experience in cloud technology (AWS/Azure).
•Excellent verbal/written communication, customer service and problem solving skills.

What additional experience do you bring?
To be considered for the Manager (Corporate Applications) role with our Vancouver client, it’s an asset to have:
•Experience in investment management / financial industry.
•Certifications: certification: TOGAF, CSP, PMI-ACP or eqv.
