Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate annual company financial planning and budget management functions
- Ensure appropriate accounting recognition for all business transactions, with a focus on A/R and Revenue
- Oversee direct staff and ensure adequate responsibilities, training and feedback are in place
- Monitor measure and report financial reporting performance; analyze, identify and communicate issues affecting Financial reporting/revenue reporting
- Assist the department managers with the monthly departmental expense variances
- Oversee and coordinate annual budgeting process company-wide, supporting both corporate finance and operational finance departments
- Prepare and review budget and forecast submissions to parent company
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant Designation (CPA, CA)
- 3+ years of financial planning experience (budgeting and forecasting) at a large company
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (MS-Excel, PowerPoint)
- Solid problem solving skills and ability to work through complex and ambiguous situations
