Responsibilities
As a Manager, Product Control, your duties will include but not be limited to:
●Being Accountable to project activities for Product Control.
●Completing other responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualifications
●Minimum of five-year experience in a financial management role in the financial services industry.
●Extensive experience on projects is required, preferred to be projects associated with system migration.
●Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards specifically in Financial Instruments.
●Strong analytical skills pertaining to a wide variety of products and financial market instruments; comfortable with the concepts of PnL explain, valuation adjustments, hedge accounting and financial control.
●Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong technical accounting competence, proven analytical ability and knowledge of banking products and practices.
●Superior interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with senior management, a self-motivator, able to use good judgment and exercise independent decision-making ability while contributing to a team environment.
●Good organizational skills, able to independently prioritize and coordinate reporting requirements/deadlines.
●Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Access) including advanced spreadsheet and VBA skills.
Nice to Haves:
●Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA), and CFA charterholder is an asset.
●Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards specifically in Financial Instruments.
●Comfortable with the concepts of PnL explain, valuation adjustments, hedge accounting and financial control.
