Are you an experienced heavy turning machinist? Do you play close attention to detail? Do you aim to go above and beyond with the goals of your shop? If so, we have an opportunity for you!

Our client, a Canadian based family operated oil & gas business located in Edmonton, is seeking a Manual Machinist to support them on a temporary basis. Must have experience doing fairly heavy turning work on horizontal lathes with 18’’ to 36’’ chuck sizes. The right candidate will be able to interpret various drawings, tables, and blueprints and be comfortable working independently to make product on a large sized lathe building items in the 200-1000lb range. Overhead crane comfort encouraged for this role but can be trained on site as required. This local Edmonton position would start ASAP, and would be a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. Experience on vertical turning centers and horizontal boring mills is a plus but not a requirement. No tickets necessary, just 5-7 years of experience in Manual Machining.

- Experience turning large valves or wellhead equipment would be an asset but not required
- Experience on vertical turning centers and horizonal boring mills is a plus but not a requirement
