Our client in Waterloo is looking for a Marketing/Communications Associate to join their team on a 14 month contract. A successful candidate will have a background in Animal health or a related field. In this role you will be responsible for day to day responsibilities for managing all areas of communications. You will be working in a small team, contributing and creating communication plans, assisting in writing and editing various communication materials, newsletters and social media content. You will also be responding to incoming client and customer queries by email and phone when required.

To be successful, you will have excellent communication and customer service skills. You will also have 2+ years experience writing and editing content, communication materials, newsletters..etc. Experience with HTML/CSS would be an asset.

Qualifications:
Writing and editing a variety of communication materials, newsletters and social media content
Background in Animal Health or a related field
Creating communication plans
Excellent experience with MS Suite - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, outlook..etc
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience responding to client/customer queries by phone and or email
Experience with HTML/CSS an asset
Experience with Adobe an asset
