Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet production goals and customer
demands.
Implement and manage lean scheduling techniques to optimize production flow and reduce waste.
Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
Track and report on key performance metrics, including production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and
schedule adherence.
Identify and address potential scheduling conflicts and production bottlenecks.
Qualifications
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification or related experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in production scheduling, preferably in a machine shop or
manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and lean scheduling principles.
Must excel in using scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
