Our client is a leader in custom roll forming in Brampton. They are able to form steel with high precision at small levels. They are looking for an individual with the skill to use Forklifts to maneuver very HEAVY loads of sheet metal rolls and the ability to use Over Head Cranes.
Job Title: Material Handler / Heavy Forklift Operator
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday AND most Saturdays (Overtime 5-6 hrs)
Hours: Day shift 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM
Pay Rate: $25+/hr based on Experience level

Responsibilities
-unloading coils of steel from the truck dock
-positioning material in storage and for production

-15,000 lbs forklift and 20-ton overhead crane use
-ability to lift 50 lbs
-other general labour duties as instructed
Qualifications
-experience and license for moving very heavy coils of sheet metal by forklift and loading them into machines for processing
-experience and license for overhead crane use to move very heavy loads
-ability to comply with all Health and Safety rules
-ability to work in a noisy environment
