We are currently looking for an experienced material handler that has over 2 years of recent work experience operating a Raymond Reach forklift. This role is a straight afternoon shift- Monday to Friday - 2:30 PM-11 PM. The rate of pay will be based on experience - $22 to $23 per hour - the job location is Ajax, ON. (this is a straight shift with NO ROTATION).

Responsibilities
What you will be doing...
• Scale and receive all finished products into the system daily
• Deliver all raw materials needed by the manufacturing department
• Perform material handling for the manufacturing department, including the filling of hoppers and removal of the finished product
• Ensure that all sorting is up-to-date and completed daily
• Ensure that all quality issues are addressed in a timely manner
• Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations, and report on any potential safety hazards
• Perform other duties within the scope of the job assignment which includes support for Assembly, Molding, and Packaging, as delegated by the Shift Lead.
Qualifications
What you need to bring to the position...
• Grade 12 Secondary School Graduate
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a material handler role.
• Raymond Reach Lift truck experience is required (internally certified is acceptable)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic math skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail
• Understand and follow all health and safety procedures including safe operation of equipment.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision or interaction
