Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing maintenance and internal/external support for Unisys MCP operating system
- Monitor the performance and stability of the MCP operating systems and applications
- Monitor system logs, error reports, and relevant data, making suggestions when needed
- Routine system maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware upgrades, and system backups
- Attach and configure data storage in the MCP operating system
- Implement security policies and procedures including threat monitoring
- Provide guidance on system configuration and performance tuning
- Provide expert Technical Support for internal employees related to MCP operating system and applications
- Document routine system maintenance tasks and provide status reports
Qualifications
Valid Secret Security Clearance
Reside in Canada with openness to occasionally travel to Ottawa
Well-versed with Unisys MCP operating system
Knowledge of Business Continuity Accelerator (BCA)
Ability to store data in (Dell Unity/PMAX)
Experience securing MCP-based systems from unauthorized access/threats
Experience providing guidance on MCP system configurations
Experience supporting and configuring Enterprise servers
