Responsibilities
Conduct service calls and repairs on marine engines, generators, and equipment
Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on equipment in the shop and out on service calls as required
Performing quality control inspections and maintenance on diesel industrial engines, heavy equipment, and marine engines
Perform tests on units to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications
Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Account for all time and material used in assigned duties
Operate heavy equipment vehicles
Participate in product training
Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations and laws
Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time
Qualifications
Previous truck and/or heavy equipment mechanical experience is required
Trade certification is strongly preferred, but we will consider experience and education
Must have above average experience trouble shooting and repair skills on Diesel Engines
Experience performing service repairs required on both small and large engines
Experience working on Electronic John Deere, CAT and Cummins Diesel engines preferred
Familiarity with JD Service Advisor, CAT ET and Cummins Insite service tools
Overnight stays out of town may be required occasionally.
Physically fit, capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
Must have valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
Have your own tools
On call and after hours work required on a rotational basis
In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government in New Brunswick, be available for work
