Mechanical Assembler / Shop Fabricator

Shift: 7:30 – 3:30 PM – Monday to Friday

Rate: 20 – 24/hr

Location – Near the airport (Please note, NOT Bus Accessible)

Responsibilities
-Setting up and using various Measuring tools and equipment
-Assist machinist in operating machinery and equipment
-Loading material into the machines
-Inspection of all materials and parts
-Use hand tools – such as saws, power drills and hammers
-Assembly of parts and ensuring top quality standard per finish product
-Polishing and deburring metal products and parts

Qualifications
-Must be eligible to attain the first level of the Government security screening
-Must be comfortable using hand tools and equipment
-Must have experience working alongside machinery
-Knowledge and comfort in using various measuring tools is a must
-Experience in a manufacturing, production, or fabrication facility is a definite must
-Experience working in a warehouse and the ability to work a labour position is a must
