•Execute full life cycle design activities, taking responsibility to overcome design challenges, collaborate with stakeholders, and seek optimized design outcomes.

•Develop, release and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDP) related to primary (hull) and secondary structures (e.g. doors, hatches, grills and armour).
•Prepare and present formal Design Review materials.
•Accountable for designs and ensuring compliance to requirements.

•Support and/or lead quality and RCCA related activities as requested.
•Lead the development and maintenance of best practices, guidance documents, processes, and procedures.
•Support Customer interactions as requested.
•Share new Independent Research and Development (IRAD) ideas with key stakeholders and support project execution as requested.
•Assist with bidding and proposal activity as requested.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
•Completed University degree, College Diploma or demonstrated exceptional abilities in relevant engineering discipline
•A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant subject matter expertise.
•Superior oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Demonstrated understanding of materials, structural analysis and manufacturing processes
•Experience with NX Unigraphics or similar CAD software
•Project leadership experience
•Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & International) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
•Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space
Qualifications
Preferred Experience:
•Familiarity with military vehicles, specifications & standards
•Hands-on manufacturing experience
•Eng. Or ability to obtain PEng designation
•Proficient with processes and products
