Responsibilities
• Collaborate with other Mechanical Integrity engineers, technical resources, and production facilities to establish and uphold the Mechanical Integrity program in accordance with industry Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) and corporate policies.
• Analyze inspection reports and devise corrective action plans.
• Verify that appropriate preventive maintenance tasks are assigned and carried out by examining maintenance management system records.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to create and maintain Mechanical Integrity policies and procedures.
• Oversee fixed equipment and piping systems inspections for production facilities.
• Aid in the development of inspection approaches that prioritize risk.
• Contribute technical expertise and support to Process Hazard Analyses and Root Cause Analyses.
• Assist production facilities in meeting technical compliance requirements for national and provincial Codes and standards.
• Evaluate equipment and piping modifications in accordance with the Management of Change process.
Qualifications
•Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline is preferred.
•3- 5 years of experience in engineering (design, construction, production), operations, or maintenance is a must.
•Experience with API 510, API 570 and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel (Section VIII) and Piping Codes (B31.3)
•Experience with common non-destructive testing techniques, reliability and asset care programs is an asset.
•Technical knowledge/experience in Air Separation &/or Industrial Gas plant equipment including instrumentation & control systems is an asset.
•This position includes both office and field work and requires short duration domestic travel (~20% travel).
