Responsibilities
-Manage document control of drawings including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, inspection isometric drawings.
-Provide support to RIK piping projects, piping upgrades, and new piping or modifications
-Verify / sketch piping isometric drawings in the field and confirm isometric revisions by field verification
-Update the Inspection Isometric drawings in AutoCAD
-Submit final drawings to be updated in the Fixed Equipment Asset Strategy (FEAS) program
-Submit final drawings to the Technical Drafting Department for document control
-Ensure all necessary drawing details are included in updates
Qualifications
Diploma in Drafting Technology or equivalent educational background from a recognized technical institute or university
Experience using AutoCAD is required
-Relevant experience with P&IDs, isometric designs, and drafting
-Field experience in oil and gas, refining or petrochemical environment would be an asset
-Ability to professionally communicate with inspectors, NDE technicians, and technical engineering staff
-Excellent time-management and organizational skills
-Ability to work under minimal supervision
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
-Experience in Visions Enterprise IDMS a strong asset, experience in CMMS software such as JDE an asset
-Ability to work in either an office and field setting at an industrial plant site
