our expanding International Project and Process Engineering team. Successful
the candidate will contribute to the project team by creating mechanical designs in
SolidWorks for both for greenfield process line layouts and new process equipment
design, they will also contribute by creating PFD, P&ID and electrical drawings in
AutoCAD as directed by process and electrical leads.
The position is a 6 months contract, with the opportunity for long term.
Location is Greater Toronto Area, ON.

Responsibilities
Work closely with entire team members on process line layout, sharing experience in efficient machine layout.
Prepare process line 3D layouts for review by stakeholders, and planning for installations.
Develop installation documentation for team members and assist in solving on site fitment issues.
Active team member on new process equipment design, providing solutions.
Transfer to CAD the PFD and P&ID as directed by process team.
Work closely with electrical team to develop electrical and PLC drawings along with panel layouts as required.
Implement and communicate drawing standards for all work.
Track all work towards projects in SAP
Internal Communications
· Communicating with Projects, Engineering departments.
Frameworks, Boundaries and decision making authority
· Applies company processes and procedures.
· Operates within set project outlines.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
University degree in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD 2D.
Experience on process line/plant layouts
Good command of written and spoken English is a must
Ability and willingness to work in different places and abroad.
Knowledge of and ability to work under international HSE and QA/QC
Ability to understand, interpret and implement company of Policies & Procedures.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of SAP project system, Microsoft office suite.
Balanced personality, ability to remain focused and calm under pressure.
Mechanical aptitude.
Decisiveness.
