Our client, an organization dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and to the improvement of its members' skills in taxation and finance, is looking to hire a Member Assistant for their downtown Montreal office.
Advantages
- permanent full-time position
- Hybrid telecommuting;
- 35 hours per week (possibility of working 4 days per week)
- Summer schedule;
- Group insurance;
- Group RRSP;
- 3 weeks of vacation (after one year / closed during Christmas holidays);
- Salary between $42k/year and $47k/year (depending on experience);
Responsibilities
- Acts as a resource person for members to answer their various questions by email and by phone;
- Updates the organization's database of member records;
- Processes new membership applications and renewals;
- Processes new membership applications and renewals; Registers for activities;
- Issues certificates of attendance to members and speakers and sends them to them;
- Follows up on attendance at activities;
- Any other related task requested by his/her immediate superior;
Qualifications
Requirements
- Diploma in administration, secretarial, office automation or equivalent;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position or in customer service (required);
- Knowledge of the Yapla/Campus membership management tool (an asset);
- Fluency in oral and written French (mandatory)
- Techno friendly;

- Patience, positivism and diplomacy;
- Organizational skills;
- Ability to adapt to change;
- Good stress management;
- Demonstrate integrity and thoroughness;
- Ability to work independently;
