Our client in Concord, Ontario is looking for a SR. Embedded Software Developer with C/C++ experience to join their team on an 12-18 month contract with possibility of extension and/or converting to a permanent role.For this role , you will be required to have 5-10 years of experience with C/C++ as well as experience developing software for switches/routers..etc. You will be working with operating systems such as VXworks, Linux, (embedded Linux, Linux of IOT devices). Additionally experience of OS thread scheduling RTOS and LInux and IPC is required , as well as experience debugging and optimization of control path and data- path execution flow.ADVANTAGESThis is a 12-18 month contract with the possibility of extension and or flipping to a permanent opportunity. This position is also remote, however once Covid is over you will be required to work in the Concord office roughly 2 days a week. As a selected candidate you also may be required to come in sometimes (o debug, test, write software-during covid but that will be infrequent).RESPONSIBILITIESAs an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing software for Switches and Routers.
