The Role:
We have an opportunity for an experienced MS Dynamics AX Functional Analyst to join our Business &
Technology Solutions (IT) team. In this role you will be responsible for working with our business and
application team to analyze, recommend solutions, develop, implement and support our business systems

applications. As the functional lead for our manufacturing and production systems, your main focus is our ERP
system – Dynamics AX, but will aslo support all manufacturing applications, interfaced solutions, and plant
production issues related to our manufacturing systems. To be successful in this role, you will have both AX &
non-AX manufacturing systems and operations knowledge, the ability to configure AX solutions to support
business requirements, and familiarity with the I.S. project life cycle from concept through to implementation.

Responsibilities
What you get to do:
Lead projects, or tasks within a project, to ensure effective execution and timely completion within
budget and with minimal impact to the business.
Deliver AX and non-AX solutions to meet business needs – gather requirements, conceptualize solution
options including any configurations changes, setups – demo the solution to users and help move this
design to the production environment.
Investigate AX solution options and develop functional design for developing new enhancements; work
with the development team to unit test and support user acceptance.
Participate in showcasing AX and non-AX manufacturing systems capabilities to users so that they can
understand new solution features and/or identify gaps – develop fit/gap documentation.
Analyze business requirements against systems solutions, test, document and promote new and/or
enhancements and integration efforts to integrated manufacturing applications.
Develop training material for manufacturing systems and at times deliver this training to the users.
Endorse and promote the use of existing utilities, tools and systems including TFS, Service Desk, Project
Management and any other supporting systems that may become recommended, standard or
mandatory.
Support all plants and address manufacturing systems and related production support issues.
Implement, manage and sustain newly integrated systems with ERP, MRP, APS & Commodity systems
across all plants/facilities. Develop related required training material and deliver training to the users.
Contact vendors regarding warranty, maintenance, or support programs for applications.
Assist in generating management reports, metrics, and routine reporting for IT and/or the business.
Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
What you bring to the role:
Graduate of university or community college preferably in Management Information Systems, Business
Administration, and/or combination of education and equivalent experience.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience working in a multi-facility 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience working / implementing MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 in a multi-location /
multi-facility manufacturing company. Additional 2 years of experience using Dynamics 365 preferred.
Must be certified in AX Manufacturing modules.
Knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC) model experience.
Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing systems – both current and new system implementations.
Experience in using the Commodity trading and risk management systems CTRM.
Experience with post Dynamics AX implementation support processes.
Experience working with manufacturing systems integration (non AX systems).
Experience managing IT projects with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others.
Demonstrate experience designing, building, implementing, and supporting business solutions.
Knowledge on using and writing functional design documents.
Experience working with technical teams to deliver timely solutions.
Demonstrated experience at presenting complex development topics to both functional and technical
personnel.
Large enterprise deployment and support experience in complex heterogeneous environments.
Exposure to other systems like Logility, PROBAT, i21, Aveva etc. will be an asset.
