    Calling all MIG welders in the Brampton Mississauga area!

    We are currently looking for someone to join one of the leading fabrication companies in North America.

    If you are a Mig Welder and looking for an afternoon shift than this may be the role for you. We are open to both Senior and Junior welders.


    Advantages

    Responsibilities
    Responsibilities for this MIG welder position
    - Weld and fit steel components to meet specifications
    - Lay out, position, align and fit steel components together
    - Read shop drawings and welding diagrams
    - Inspect finished part and conduct rework (grinding, re-weld) as necessary
    - Practice and follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe workplace
    - Other duties as required

    Qualifications
    - Brampton Mississauga area
    - MIG welding in a production environment or recent welding program graduate
    - Prior experience welding steel
    - Capable of reading blueprints and shop drawings
    - Previous experience with product re-work (grinding, r-e-welds. polishing)
    - Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and handling large parts by hand and with crane
    - Overhead crane experience an asset
    - Prior experience work in a busy manufacturing environment
    - Team player, willingness to learn, positive attitude
