Permanent Position
Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
Salary: Range based on experience $35 - $42 per hour

Responsibilities
As an Industrial Mechanic in Agricultural Mill Plant, a normal day would include:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and recalibration of equipment
- Completing installations, assemble, and disassembly of industrial and mechanical equipment as needed
- Understanding construction drawings, including providing an accurate layout of the work and building to drawings and specifications
- comfortable working outside (in cold weather) and at heights when required
- Assist in the training of apprentices and other less experienced workers
- Occasional on-call work required
- Ensure safe work practices & policies are being followed at all times
- The overall maintenance and upkeep of all equipment in the facility

Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- Journeyman/Red Seal Millwright is preferred
- Experience working on equipment used in Agriculture Manufacturing plants is a strong asset
- Ability to work at heights up to 100+ feet
- 3+ years as an industrial Mechanic
- Valid driver's license
- Able to be on-call
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Self-directed personality that's able to plan, organize, and problem-solve independently
- first aid certificate is an asset
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests at the time of hire
- able to pass a Background check
- Fall arrest certification is a strong asset
