Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
- Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery
(HVAC equipment, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, extrusion machines, lathes, mills, vaccuums, compressors, tooling, etc)
- Install, rebuild and repair existing and new equipment
- Welding and fitting when needed
- Working closely with other departments and communicating project updates, etc
- Ensuring workspaces are clean, and up to health and safety standards
- Prioritizing daily tasks to ensure smooth operation and decreased downtime
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- 3rd and 4th year Millwright Apprentices with some mechanical experience
- 3-5 years of Millwrighting / Mechanical experience
- Familiar with Fanuc, Okuma or Heidenhain controllers
- Familiarity with G and M codes
- Ability to operate manual lathe when required
- Team player, quick learner and great communicator
