As a Industrial Millwright Apprentice you will be responsible for the following critical tasks. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager
This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment to support the effective operation of the plant.

Monday - Friday (No weekends)
Depending on year of apprenticeship and hands on experience - Pay Range $30-$35 (1st and 2nd year apprentice welcome)

Responsibilities
-Troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions, repair equipment and services
-Perform maintenance functions required to keep plant running effectively (e.g. supporting line equipment set- up during start and change over)
-Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and services as instructed by the Plant Manager
-Oversee new installations of equipment and ensure safety and legal requirements are met
-Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives
-Liaise with vendors and equipment suppliers to ensure maximum quality performance
-Provide leadership on maintenance priorities and protocols
-Contact and oversee all contracted maintenance work for major repairs
Qualifications
1-3 years of hands on experience in Canada in the maintenance of production facility
Equipment, machinery and electrical experience (conveyor belts, fillers, sealers, dust collectors and air handling system, ink jet, air compressor)
Registered Apprentice 433A (ASSET) however not needed. (Mechanical testing will be done.)
Experience with welding and fabrication
Working at heights training certification, forklift license, scissor lift experience/certification (ASSET)
