Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity as a registered millwright apprentice in a food manufacturing facility in the beautiful city of Guelph, Ontario?

If so, then there is a millwright opening here with a wonderful company that prides itself on growth and development, teamwork, and autonomy!

Your day could include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, working on the high-speed packaging machines, partnering with sub-contractors to eliminate problems and keep things running smoothly, and looking to help improve on maintenance operations.

Some assets you might bring with you are the ability to work independently and the attitude of a true team player. You might also be someone who has experience working within the food industry and someone who is skilled and confident in their troubleshooting abilities.

You will be working on equipment such as:
- fluid transfer systems
- robotics (Fanuc)
- high-speed packaging equipment
- conveyor systems
- blending tanks
- centrifugal pumps

Qualifications
Things you'd need to bring with you:
- 433A Millwright License or 6500+ hours completed towards your apprenticeship
- food processing background is ideal
- experience with high-speed packaging is ideal
- welding and plumbing knowledge
- strong communication skills and a true team player attitude
- comfortable working at heights (less than 10% of your responsibilities)
