We are looking for a maintenance mechanic or licensed millwright for a position in Woodbridge.
This is a straight-day shift - full-time and permanent.

The millwright / maintenance mechanic would be responsible for the following key duties:

- Perform preventative maintenance
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment
- Safely operate all required equipment and tools including standard shop equipment (mills, drill, presses, brake press (metal fabrication), saws lathes and welding equipment.)
- Utilize blueprints, sketches, descriptions, experience and support from Engineering and other sources of technical support to accomplish tasks
- Utilize precision measuring tools to verify parts, components and dimension details are correct
- Be able to work independently

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the millwright / maintenance mechanic role will possess the following:

- Minimum of three years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing brake press, spot welding, and roll forming machinery
- Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools, bench tools, welding equipment
- Technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills with good commands in English both written and orally
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively utilize basic shop math skills
- Ability to use precision metal-working tools, hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and close tolerances
- Blueprint reading and computer skills
- Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.
- Physical capability of lifting up to 35 pounds unassisted
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
