    Maintenance Mechanic’s primary responsibility is to carry out maintenance repairs, electrical diagnosis, reading blueprints and equipment modifications related to production processes and facilities.

    Responsibilities
    - Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

    - Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.

    - Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts

    - Operate machine tools such as lathes and mill machines to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery

    - Troubleshooting/repairs/installations of processing equipment with a working knowledge of electrical to allow efficient repair/replacement results

    - Working Knowledge of HMI as they relate to processing, filling equipment in a food manufacturing environment

    Qualifications
    -1 year of Millwright experience is preferred
    - Maintenance Mechanic: 3 years (required)
    - Red Seal Milwright ticket is an asset
