We're hiring a JM / red seal millwright with manufacturing experience for our client, located within the city of Calgary.
Our client has been one the trusted names in their industry for almost 100 years and is recognized worldwide for their quality products. We're looking an afternoon shift millwright who takes pride in their work and loves "rolling up their sleeves".

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
*Performing preventive maintenance on forges overhead cranes, completing heavy press overhauls on mechanical presses, and conducting heavy mechanical repairs and rebuilds.
* Conduct complete overhauls on mechanical presses and other heavy forging equipment.
* Maintain and repair plant equipment to ensure a high level of performance with minimal downtime, including preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
* Repairs, upgrades, and rebuilds on mechanical machinery (including overhauls on 40 – 100 ton presses)
* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by following diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
* Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Qualifications
What you bring:
* Valid Millwright Journeyman ticket (or Red Seal certification).
* Proven experience in preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and heavy press overhauls.
* Familiarity with forges overhead cranes and other forging assets.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, including a commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
